MEET ASHLEY
Ashley Rubis is the artist and owner behind Flawless Edge Beauty, a boutique brow studio in North Burnaby specializing in natural-looking permanent makeup and cosmetic brow artistry.
With a background rooted in fine art, Ashley has always had an eye for detail. She began drawing and selling realistic pencil portraits at just 16, developing the patience, precision, and understanding of facial proportions that would eventually become a natural fit for permanent makeup.
After discovering PMU, Ashley combined her love of art with her passion for beauty and founded Flawless Edge Beauty in 2019. Since then, she has helped over 700 clients achieve brows that look soft, natural, and uniquely suited to their features. She has worked with a wide variety of skin types, brow shapes, and ethnicities, and clients have travelled from throughout British Columbia and even the United States to see her.
Ashley is particularly passionate about creating brows that enhance rather than overpower the face. Her approach is highly personalized, taking into consideration each client's natural brow pattern, facial structure, skin type, lifestyle, and long-term goals. Rather than following a one-size-fits-all brow trend, she believes the best brows are the ones that look like they belong on you.
Her work has also been recognized by her clients and the beauty community. In 2026, Ashley received Fresha's Highly Recommended award, adding to a growing record of five-star client experiences. Her Fresha profile currently holds a 5.0 rating with more than 120 reviews.
For Ashley, permanent makeup is about much more than creating a beautiful brow. It is about giving someone the confidence to wake up feeling put together without having to worry about how their brows look every morning.
